The Opportunity

The Solana Foundation is seeking a Head of Stablecoins to lead the strategy, growth, and ecosystem development of stablecoins on Solana.

This is not a traditional BD or product role. The right person will own the full picture — from forging partnerships with stablecoin issuers and exchanges to designing strategies that drive breakthrough liquidity onto Solana. The mandate of this role is not to drive organic growth, but rather to drive step-function breakthrough expansion.

What You'll Do

• Strategy Ownership: Define and own the Solana Foundation's stablecoin growth strategy end-to-end — from issuer relationships to on-chain distribution.
• Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with major stablecoin issuers, exchanges, custodians, and DeFi protocols.
• Commercial Design: Oversee commercial strategies and liquidity initiatives that attract and retain stablecoin capital on-chain.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product and engineering teams to identify infrastructure gaps and enable new use cases like payments and remittances.
• Market Analysis: Track competitive dynamics across chains, analyze what's working, and adapt strategy quickly.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 7+ years spanning business development, product strategy, growth, or protocol leadership.
• Mindset: A founder's mindset: high agency, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to context-switch between partnership negotiations and product specs.
• Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of stablecoin mechanics, DeFi liquidity dynamics, and on-chain incentive design.
• Communication: Excellent communicator who can translate complex on-chain dynamics into clear strategic narratives.

Bonus Points

• Direct experience at a stablecoin issuer, DeFi protocol, or crypto-native fund.
• Background in tokenomics or liquidity strategy.
• Existing relationships with major stablecoin issuers and key DeFi teams building on Solana.
