Okay Bears is a Solana NFT collection and consumer brand founded in 2022. Its initial digital collectibles release was one of the largest in Solana's history, and the project has since positioned itself around art, community, and culture across both digital and physical formats.
The brand is represented by the licensing agency IMG. In 2023 it partnered with Zara on an apparel line carried in more than 1,100 stores across 74 countries, and it has appeared on the Fortnite homepage. Okay Bears reports raising over $100,000 for organizations including UNHCR, Movember, the British Red Cross, and the Children's Medical Research Institute, through collaborations that have included (RED) and basketball player Lonzo Ball.
Its current work centers on converting under-resourced basketball courts and playgrounds into large-scale public murals. Projects include a Lonzo Ball collaboration that refurbished two courts at Verbum Dei High School in Los Angeles, funded through a 24-hour digital collectible auction, and a wheelchair-accessible court at the Forum for the Rights of People with Disabilities in Tripoli, Lebanon, with further builds planned in Indonesia, South Africa, and the United States.
Holders retain the rights to use their individual Bear as a personal or commercial identity.
