$BP Surges 255% in 30D Following Strong Month for Tokenized Equity Trading
Backpack’s $BP token has reached a new all-time high as Solana retakes the lead in tokenized equity and commodity trading, though xStocks remains the dominant issuer by supply.

Backpack’s $BP token has become one of Solana’s strongest-performing ecosystem assets, surging 255% over 30 days as tokenized equity trading accelerates across the network. The rally has pushed $BP to a new all-time high of $1.67, with growing interest in real-world assets helping fuel demand.
Solana Reclaims Tokenized Equity Leadership
Solana has recently retaken the lead in tokenized equity trading after briefly trailing BNB and Robinhood Chain. According to Blockworks data, the network now accounts for more than 32% of daily tokenized equity trading volume, ahead of BNB at 27% and Robinhood Chain at 25%.
Solana is also leading the tokenized commodities market, capturing 28% of weekly trading share. The resurgence follows a period of heightened interest in onchain equities and the broader meme- and “stonk”-driven trading narrative, which has helped draw attention to tokenized securities and the platforms supporting them.
- Solana: more than 32% of daily tokenized equity volume
- BNB: 27% of daily tokenized equity volume
- Robinhood Chain: 25% of daily tokenized equity volume
- Solana: 28% of weekly tokenized commodity market share
Backpack Gains Momentum as Issuer Competition Intensifies
$BP is the native token of Backpack, an exchange, wallet, and onchain securities issuance platform. Alongside $ONDO, it is one of the few publicly traded crypto assets offering direct exposure to the tokenization sector, which many analysts view as a major narrative for the next market cycle.
Backpack’s securities platform has also shown execution advantages in some comparisons. A September 4 Blockworks report found that trades in Backpack’s $SPCX stock executed 1.23 basis points more cheaply than the equivalent xStocks product. Against Robinhood Chain stocks, the difference reached 5.8 basis points for trades below $1,000.
The research attributed part of Backpack’s performance to professional liquidity provision and distribution from Sunrise, a Solana asset gateway powered by Wormhole’s Native Token Transfer framework. Sunrise has helped bring widely traded assets onto Solana and strengthen the network’s tokenized-asset infrastructure.
Despite $BP’s price momentum, Backpack Securities remains smaller than xStocks in overall supply and market size. Onchain data indicates that xStocks accounts for 74% of Solana’s tokenized equities, while its deeper liquidity and composability continue to support a sizable lead. xStocks has also recently regained the trading-volume advantage after Backpack led from July through mid-August, with activity potentially boosted by memecoin pairings involving $GLDx and $NVDAx.
What This Means
The data points to growing competition within Solana’s tokenization economy rather than a clear winner. $BP’s rally reflects enthusiasm around Backpack and the broader RWA narrative, while Solana’s restored market-share lead reinforces its position as a major venue for onchain securities. However, xStocks’ supply advantage and incentive-driven liquidity remain important counterweights. Sustained growth will likely depend on durable trading demand, efficient execution, and composability rather than short-term rewards alone.
