Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP Spot ETFs Record $65 Million in Combined Inflows
All four major crypto spot ETF categories posted net inflows on Sept. 28, highlighting broader institutional demand beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.

All four major crypto spot ETF categories recorded net inflows on Sept. 28, drawing a combined $65 million into regulated investment products. The synchronized buying included Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP, suggesting institutional interest is broadening across the crypto market.
Bitcoin Leads, Solana Outpaces XRP
According to data from SoSoValue, Bitcoin ETFs led the day with $31.07 million in net inflows. Despite being the largest daily total among the four assets, that figure was the lowest single-day inflow for Bitcoin ETFs during September.
Ethereum ETFs followed with $17.10 million, while Solana ETFs attracted $12.70 million. XRP ETFs recorded $3.96 million in net inflows.
The daily breakdown was:
- Bitcoin: $31.07 million
- Ethereum: $17.10 million
- Solana: $12.70 million
- XRP: $3.96 million
The coordinated inflows came shortly after a strong week for the products. In the week ending around Sept. 25, Bitcoin ETFs took in approximately $2.39 billion, their largest single-week inflow of 2026. That surge pushed Bitcoin’s 2026 net flows back into positive territory after earlier redemptions.
Solana also set a single-day inflow record of $86.7 million on Sept. 25, three days before the four-asset inflow event.
Cumulative ETF Demand Expands
Bitcoin remains dominant in cumulative terms. Since spot Bitcoin ETFs launched in January 2024, they have recorded $57.58 billion in net inflows and reached $107.82 billion in total net assets. ETF products now represent exposure equivalent to 6.42% of Bitcoin’s market capitalization, according to the cited data.
Ethereum ETFs have accumulated $13.96 billion in net inflows against $17.69 billion in total assets. The newer products have also built meaningful positions:
- XRP ETFs: $1.79 billion in cumulative inflows
- Solana ETFs: $1.62 billion in cumulative inflows
Bitcoin ETFs launched in January 2024, followed by Ethereum products in May of that year. Solana and XRP ETFs entered the market in 2025. Issuers including BlackRock, Fidelity, Bitwise, and Grayscale are competing through fees and product structures.
Solana products also offer a differentiating feature: some ETF structures pass staking yield through to holders. That gives investors a potential income component alongside market exposure. XRP’s inflows may reflect demand that accumulated during years of regulatory uncertainty surrounding the SEC’s case against Ripple, which has since been resolved.
What This Means
The Sept. 28 data points to a widening institutional market rather than demand concentrated solely in Bitcoin. Bitcoin still commands the largest asset base, but Solana and XRP are attracting substantial cumulative flows despite launching later. If synchronized inflows continue, regulated ETFs could become an increasingly important channel for institutional exposure to alternative crypto assets, with Solana’s staking functionality adding another potential advantage for allocators.
