Solana ETFs Post Record Weekly Outflows as Ten-Day Losing Streak Continues
Spot Solana ETF products recorded their worst weekly outflow total on record, while the funds’ extended redemptions coincided with renewed pressure on SOL’s price.
Spot Solana (SOL) ETFs are facing their most difficult period since launching, with investors withdrawing $25.52 million during the latest week. The funds have now recorded outflows for 10 consecutive days, adding to broader weakness across the SOL market.
Record Redemptions for SOL Funds
According to CryptoPotato, the latest weekly outflow total surpassed the previous record of $24.81 million, set just one week earlier. The pace of withdrawals accelerated on Friday, when the funds lost more than $12.6 million in a single session.
The recent flow data shows a consistent lack of buying pressure:
- The funds have posted only one positive day since September 29.
- The sole green session brought in a modest $1.30 million on October 2.
- Cumulative net inflows declined from $1.62 billion to $1.56 billion over two weeks.
- The latest weekly outflow figure established a new record for the products.
The deterioration marks a sharp shift in investor demand. Rather than attracting fresh allocations during market weakness, the Solana ETF complex has continued to see capital leave the funds.
SOL Tests Key Price Levels
The ETF outflows have coincided with a pullback in the underlying SOL token. The asset was rejected at approximately $110 during the week and fell to the $101–$102 area on several occasions.
SOL has so far remained in three-digit territory, but the report describes the market backdrop as materially weaker than it was several weeks ago. A sustained move below $100 is increasingly a concern if redemptions continue and demand does not recover.
The flow picture for SOL also contrasts with developments in the spot XRP ETF market. While the XRP products had previously maintained a stronger run, they recorded their first red week in months, according to the report. That shift suggests that selling pressure is no longer isolated to Solana-linked funds.
What This Means
The latest figures point to weakening institutional demand for SOL exposure through exchange-traded products. Record weekly withdrawals, a ten-session losing streak and a decline in cumulative inflows create a negative near-term signal for both ETF sentiment and the token’s price structure.
If outflows persist, the $100 level could become an important psychological and technical test. Conversely, a return to consistent daily inflows would be needed to challenge the current narrative and help stabilize SOL after its rejection near $110.
