Solana Leads Tokenized U.S. Treasury Growth With $378 Million Inflows
Solana recorded the largest 30-day increase in tokenized U.S. Treasury activity as the market surpassed $16 billion and institutional-grade products expanded across the network.

Solana recorded the largest 30-day increase in tokenized U.S. Treasury activity among blockchain networks, adding $378 million in net inflows. The move gives Solana a larger role in a market that reached $16.23 billion in distributed value as of August 15, according to RWA.xyz.
Solana’s Treasury Expansion
The broader tokenized Treasury market grew 1.81% over the past 30 days, with Solana, Ethereum, and BNB Chain accounting for the leading areas of activity. Solana’s increase marks a notable acceleration as financial institutions and asset managers use blockchain-based representations of government debt.
Several institutional-grade Treasury products now operate on Solana, including BlackRock’s BUIDL, Ondo Finance’s USDY, and Galaxy Digital’s SWEEP. SWEEP currently holds roughly $161 million, while VBILL adds another product to the network’s growing roster of tokenized Treasury offerings.
The products are designed to operate within existing regulatory constraints. BUIDL and USDY, for example, include transfer restrictions and accredited-investor requirements in their smart contracts, limiting how the tokens can be distributed and transferred.
Ethereum Still Leads the Market
Solana’s growth has not displaced Ethereum, which remains the largest blockchain for tokenized Treasuries with approximately 43% of total market share. BNB Chain ranks second at around 31.5%.
The largest products by value are:
- USYC: roughly $3.0 billion
- BUIDL: approximately $2.7 billion
- USDY: around $2.15 billion
The market now spans nearly 18 blockchain networks, reflecting a broader shift toward distributing real-world assets across multiple chains rather than concentrating issuance on a single network.
What This Means
Tokenized U.S. Treasuries have expanded rapidly from less than $1 billion in early 2024 to more than $16 billion in under 30 months—approximately a 16-fold increase. The wider tokenized real-world asset market, including private credit and real estate, is estimated at $30 billion to $38 billion.
Solana’s $378 million monthly increase suggests that speed, liquidity, and expanding institutional support are helping it compete for Treasury issuance. Ethereum’s substantial lead shows that the market remains concentrated, but Solana’s rising product count and inflows indicate that institutional blockchain adoption is becoming increasingly multi-chain.
