Deep Dive: How Nexusol Works, Solana's Intelligence Layer
What Nexusol is, how it's built, how its AI tools work, where it sits among Solana analytics tools and where it could go next, written by the Nexusol team.

This deep dive is written by the Nexusol team about our own product. It's here so researchers and builders can see exactly how Nexusol works, what it doesn't do yet, and where it could go.
What Nexusol is
Nexusol is a free intelligence layer for the Solana ecosystem. It pulls news, market data, project information, social sentiment, events and opportunities into one workspace, and adds AI tools for going deeper. It's built for builders, researchers and investors who otherwise jump between explorers, dashboards, X and Telegram to piece together what's happening.
The product is organised into a few areas:
- Monitor: a newswire that clusters coverage into stories with a momentum score, Around the Ecosystem for hand-written recaps and deep dives, interviews and talks, a weekly newsletter and a monthly ecosystem report.
- Ecosystem: a project directory tagged by Superteam chapter, the Atlas view of the validator network, an events calendar and a daily ecosystem score.
- Market: token prices, DEX volume, protocol revenue, capital flows, ETF flows, RWA and stablecoin supply.
- Opportunities: airdrops, Superteam Earn bounties and grants, and a job board.
- Analysis: Nexusol Research, NexusGraph, Nexusol Vibe, Nexusol Studio and Build Signal.
How it's built
Nexusol is a Next.js application running on a DigitalOcean server with a managed Postgres database, deployed with blue-green releases so updates don't take the site down. Data comes from established providers rather than scraping guesswork: CoinGecko for prices, DefiLlama for TVL, DEX volume and revenue, Helius for on-chain supply data, Exa for web search, X data for social sentiment, Luma for events and Superteam Earn for bounties and grants. Refresh jobs run inside the app, on a schedule or started from the admin dashboard.
AI models are called through an AI gateway, so different jobs can use different models: a fast model for everyday summaries, a stronger reasoning model for research, and a small model for classifying tweet sentiment and checking whether a news article really mentions a given project. Nexusol doesn't run its own GPUs.
The AI tools
Nexusol Research is an agent that answers deep questions about Solana with citations. Rather than searching a fixed document store, it calls tools: web search for current reporting, allowlisted read-only queries against Solana mainnet and devnet RPCs (account details, balances, token supply, transactions), and Nexusol's own datasets on projects, news, markets, sentiment and events.
Nexusol Vibe helps you design a Solana program before writing it. You describe roles, accounts and rules; Vibe builds a blueprint, simulates how state changes, and exports a handoff pack for developers. It does not compile or deploy programs.
NexusGraph maps how projects, people and investors connect. Nexusol Studio and the Terminal let signed-in users build their own dashboards from Nexusol's components. Build Signal publishes one AI-researched build idea every week, with a suggested first step.
Nexusol also runs an MCP server, so AI assistants and agents can query projects and news directly. Access uses OAuth 2.1 with scoped permissions.
Signal over noise
Two features show the approach. On the newswire, each story cluster gets a momentum score, and it's marked Confirmed once at least two publishers cover it, or Emerging while it rests on a single source. And the daily ecosystem score blends six sub-scores (on-chain activity, developer activity, TVL momentum, social sentiment, project ecosystem and news) into one number, so you can see the state of the network at a glance and dig into what's driving it.
Sign-in uses Google or X. Nexusol doesn't require a wallet to explore, and wallets never create sessions, which keeps onboarding simple and avoids asking people to sign anything just to read data.
Where it sits
Nexusol sits between institutional analytics platforms like Messari and Token Terminal, block explorers like Solscan, and general-purpose AI assistants. It's narrower than the analytics giants (Solana only) and broader than an explorer, with the goal of being the place you start when you want to understand what's happening in the ecosystem and what's worth building next. In October 2026, Nexusol placed 5th in Superteam Thailand's AI x Solana Track at the Colosseum hackathon.
Open directions
A few directions we're weighing, none of them promised:
- Faster on-chain answers: caching common on-chain lookups so Research depends less on live RPC latency during network congestion.
- From research to action: letting people act on what they find, such as claiming or swapping, through an optional wallet connection that stays separate from sign-in.
- From blueprint to deployment: taking Vibe's handoff pack closer to a deployable program, for example a generated Anchor scaffold for devnet.
