Decrypt Unveils Solana-Based Information Exchange Powered by MYR
Decrypt is evolving into an information and financial network on Solana, combining journalism, market data, prediction markets and direct participation through the MYR token.

Decrypt is introducing The Information Exchange, a Solana-based network that combines news, data, market prices, probabilities and financial participation. The initiative is powered by Myriad and its MYR token, with a staggered product rollout planned over the coming weeks ahead of Solana Breakpoint.
An Information-to-Participation Network
The Information Exchange is designed to connect the full lifecycle of market information. A user following an asset such as Bitcoin could read what happened, view current market activity, see what participants believe may happen next and potentially act within the same connected experience.
Decrypt will contribute trusted information and distribution, while Myriad provides the technology linking that information to financial markets. Solana will serve as the high-performance on-chain environment, offering the speed, low costs and expanding financial ecosystem the companies say are needed to embed participation directly into media products.
The platform is expected to combine native products with offerings integrated from third-party protocols and exchanges. Planned market categories include:
- Prediction markets and probabilities
- Spot markets
- Perpetual futures
- Structured event products
- New financial instruments
The announcement follows more than $600 million in prediction-market volume generated during Myriad’s development across multiple ecosystems. The team said it experimented with automated market makers, order books, a wallet and proprietary market infrastructure, while recognizing that an earlier focus on becoming a conventional prediction-market venue did not fully capture the broader relationship between information and participation.
MYR as the Coordination Layer
MYR is intended to coordinate users, creators, traders, publishers, liquidity providers, applications, data providers and autonomous agents across the network. Participants responsible for secured network functions, including information verification and market resolution, may stake the token.
Applications, professional trading systems, data consumers and autonomous agents may also stake MYR to access scarce network resources. Potential benefits and services include:
- Higher API throughput and low-latency market data
- Probability feeds and resolution infrastructure
- Programmatic market creation and execution services
- Premium intelligence and reduced transaction costs
The network also plans an in-house agentic media operating system to identify emerging subjects, organize data, support content production and connect relevant financial products to published information. Revenue generated across the exchange could support open-market MYR acquisitions, buybacks and burns, staking incentives, network rewards, treasury funding and ecosystem development.
What This Means
The initiative positions Solana as the settlement and participation layer for a media product that aims to move beyond publishing into market discovery and execution. If the rollout delivers on its plans, The Information Exchange could create a tighter connection between journalism, predictive information and on-chain financial products.
The model also introduces execution and trust challenges. Market resolution, information verification, liquidity and the quality of automated content will be central to adoption. For now, the announcement establishes the direction, while the coming rollout will determine how much of the proposed network is available to users and how effectively MYR coordinates activity across it.
