Dune launches onchain trading data feeds as tokenized markets expand
Dune’s new real-time feeds cover more than 200 onchain venues across 12 networks, including Solana, as institutional demand for tokenized markets grows.
Dune has launched real-time market data feeds for onchain venues, expanding its analytics business as trading activity moves across decentralized exchanges and tokenized markets. The feeds cover more than 200 venues across 12 networks, including Solana, and deliver spot-trade data roughly one second after execution.
What Dune Launched
The new product is designed to provide institutional-grade visibility into onchain price discovery. Dune said its feeds include real-time trade information and reference data intended to show which instruments trade where and at what prices.
Coverage spans several major blockchain ecosystems:
- Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain and X Layer are among the networks included.
- Spot feeds cover more than 200 onchain trading venues.
- Perpetuals feeds will track trades on Hyperliquid and Lighter.
- Data arrives approximately one second after execution.
Dune said hedge funds, asset managers, market makers and brokers can use the feeds within systems already built for listed-market data. The move positions onchain activity as an increasingly important part of the broader market-data infrastructure rather than a separate analytics niche.
Tokenization Drives Demand
The launch comes as interest in tokenized securities and onchain trading expands. Dune cited a recent Securities and Exchange Commission five-year exemption that allows certain venues to trade tokenized versions of U.S.-listed stocks without registering as exchanges.
The company also pointed to OKXICE, a joint venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, which notified the SEC of plans to launch a tokenized securities venue under the innovation exemption. According to Dune, OKXICE has since filed to list 63 tokenized stocks on X Layer.
Dune co-founder and CEO Fredrik Haga said onchain trading now represents approximately 25% of all spot crypto trading volume. He argued that the expansion of tokenized stocks and other instruments could make timely, standardized data increasingly important for participants operating across both traditional and blockchain-based markets.
What This Means
For Solana, inclusion in Dune’s feed coverage could improve the visibility of trading activity across its onchain venues for professional market participants. Faster, cross-network data may help firms compare liquidity, monitor price discovery and evaluate execution opportunities without relying on isolated dashboards.
The launch does not itself create new liquidity or guarantee institutional participation. It does, however, signal that data providers are building infrastructure around a more fragmented and increasingly interconnected trading environment. As tokenized assets develop, reliable reference data could become a prerequisite for deeper participation from funds, brokers and market makers.
