Pando Finance’s Solana ETF Set to Debut on Hong Kong Stock Exchange
Pando Finance will launch Hong Kong’s second spot Solana ETF on October 13, giving investors regulated brokerage access to SOL exposure without directly holding the token.

Pando Finance is scheduled to list its spot Solana ETF on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 13, 2026, under the ticker 2831.HK. The launch gives Hong Kong investors another regulated route to SOL through a conventional brokerage account, following the earlier debut of Huaxia’s competing fund.
A Passive, Fully Backed Solana Vehicle
Pando’s ETF is designed as a passive product tracking the CME CF Solana Dollar Index, specifically the version calculated using the Asia Pacific closing price. That benchmark is intended to align the fund’s valuation with Hong Kong trading hours and regional market conditions.
The fund provides one-to-one exposure to the index and will not use leverage or pay dividends. Its stated management fee is 0.6%, while the estimated ongoing charges ratio is materially higher at 1.6%. The difference will make total holding costs an important consideration for investors comparing the new product with alternatives.
An HKEX circular dated October 9, 2026, confirmed the ETF’s eligibility as well as its custody and settlement arrangements. Pando Finance holds the licenses required to allocate 100% of a portfolio to virtual assets, enabling the fund to operate as a fully crypto-backed vehicle.
Hong Kong’s Growing Solana ETF Market
The listing expands Pando Finance’s existing digital-asset ETF lineup. The firm has previously launched spot Bitcoin and Ethereum products, making the Solana fund its third spot virtual asset ETF rather than its first offering in the category.
Pando will not be the first issuer to bring a spot Solana ETF to Hong Kong. Huaxia’s fund is already trading on the exchange under ticker 03460, setting up a direct comparison between the two products.
Key points for investors include:
- Pando Finance: ticker 2831.HK, 0.6% management fee and 1.6% estimated ongoing charges.
- Huaxia: the existing spot Solana ETF on HKEX, trading under 03460.
- Product structure: passive, unleveraged exposure with no dividend payments.
- Benchmarking: pricing based on the CME CF Solana Dollar Index’s Asia Pacific closing-price variant.
Globally, a Solana statement cited in the report said spot Solana ETFs hold approximately $1.9 billion in net assets and have attracted about $1.6 billion in cumulative inflows.
What This Means
Pando’s listing broadens regulated access to SOL for institutions and other investors whose mandates may prohibit direct cryptocurrency ownership. An exchange-listed fund managed by a licensed provider can turn direct-asset restrictions into an approved investment route.
The launch also creates a clearer competitive test in Hong Kong. Trading volume, tracking accuracy and total costs—not only the headline management fee—are likely to determine whether Pando can attract assets alongside Huaxia’s established product. The higher ongoing-cost estimate may weigh on long-term returns, even as the new ETF adds another institutional channel for Solana exposure.
