Solana Non-Vote Transactions More Than Double to 8.92 Billion in Q3 2026
Solana processed 8.92 billion non-vote transactions in the third quarter, a 104% increase from Q4 2025 and a 24% rise from the previous quarter.

Solana recorded 8.92 billion non-vote transactions in the third quarter of 2026, marking a 104% increase from approximately 4.38 billion transactions in Q4 2025. The milestone points to a sharp recovery and acceleration in on-chain activity after a decline in the previous quarter.
Transaction growth across 2026
The latest figure represents the highest quarterly transaction count cited in the report. Solana processed 7.54 billion non-vote transactions in Q1 2026 and 7.19 billion in Q2 before activity increased in Q3.
- Q4 2025: approximately 4.38 billion non-vote transactions
- Q1 2026: 7.54 billion non-vote transactions
- Q2 2026: 7.19 billion non-vote transactions
- Q3 2026: 8.92 billion non-vote transactions
On a quarter-over-quarter basis, Q3 activity rose by approximately 24% from Q2. The increase also reversed the decline between the first and second quarters, suggesting that demand for Solana’s transaction infrastructure strengthened as the year progressed.
The figures were highlighted by the official Solana account on X. Co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko, known as Toly, responded to the milestone with the comment, “Put the cryptography into the computer.”
Why non-vote transactions matter
Non-vote transactions are used as a more targeted measure of user and application activity because they exclude the routine validator votes required to maintain network consensus. The category includes token transfers, decentralized application interactions, trading activity and other transactions submitted by network participants.
Data compiled by Solana Compass further showed that the network processed approximately 3.18 billion completed non-vote transactions in September alone. That marked the third consecutive monthly record, according to the report.
Still, transaction growth should not be treated as a direct measure of individual users. Automated trading bots can generate substantial on-chain activity, meaning that a larger transaction count may reflect more frequent programmatic actions rather than an equivalent increase in people using the network.
What This Means
The Q3 data reinforces Solana’s position as a high-throughput blockchain with growing demand for transfers, trading and decentralized applications. The 104% increase from late 2025 and the 24% quarterly gain are positive indicators for network utilization, but transaction totals alone do not establish broader user growth or economic value.
SOL was trading near $104 on Oct. 19, with an estimated market capitalization of approximately $61 billion. The continued rise in non-vote activity may support positive market sentiment, while investors will likely watch whether record transaction volumes persist and translate into sustained application usage.
