Kalshi Adds Solana-Based DoubleZero Feed for Institutional-Grade Market Data
Prediction market Kalshi is integrating DoubleZeroEdge to deliver low-latency, machine-readable data to trading firms through a dedicated network modeled on traditional finance infrastructure.

Prediction market Kalshi is adding DoubleZero’s low-latency market data feed to its order book, seeking to meet growing institutional demand for faster, more specialized trading infrastructure in digital assets. The integration will make Kalshi data available through DoubleZeroEdge, a Solana-based transport layer designed to distribute market information over dedicated fiber connections.
A Wall Street-Style Data Layer
The DoubleZero Foundation described DoubleZeroEdge as a network for sending live exchange and onchain data simultaneously to connected traders. The system is intended to provide trading firms with a machine-readable view of Kalshi markets for pricing, hedging and signal generation on Solana.
That approach mirrors the market-data distribution model used by major traditional financial exchanges. According to the foundation, dedicated networking has supported venues including the NYSE, Nasdaq and CME for decades, giving institutions specialized access to time-sensitive information.
Crypto traders, by contrast, have generally relied on the public internet to receive market data. DoubleZero is attempting to narrow that infrastructure gap with a bespoke onchain system that emphasizes speed, consistency and synchronized delivery.
Why Prediction-Market Speed Matters
Kalshi offers contracts tied to macroeconomic releases, geopolitical events and asset-price movements. These markets can function as real-time probability gauges for events such as interest-rate decisions and inflation data, where new information may trigger substantial repricing within milliseconds.
At rollout, Kalshi plans to provide its most actively traded contracts through the feed, including crypto perpetual futures. The contracts allow traders to speculate on asset prices without a fixed expiration date.
The integration is designed to offer traders a consolidated view of Kalshi activity through one low-latency connection, including:
- Live exchange and onchain data distributed over dedicated fiber.
- Machine-readable information for automated pricing and hedging strategies.
- Access to actively traded prediction-market contracts, including crypto derivatives.
- Simultaneous publication to connected trading firms.
Kalshi is one of the two largest prediction markets, alongside Polymarket, and its growing use by professional traders reflects a broader shift toward treating event-based markets as sources of actionable financial signals.
What This Means
The partnership highlights how institutional participation is influencing the design of crypto-market infrastructure. Faster data delivery does not guarantee better execution, but it can reduce the latency differences between professional firms and traders using conventional internet connections.
For Solana, the integration positions the network as part of a wider institutional data stack rather than solely as a venue for onchain transactions. If adoption expands, low-latency feeds such as DoubleZeroEdge could support more automated trading, hedging and cross-market strategies across prediction markets and digital-asset venues.
