XStocks Tokenized Equities Reach $186 Million AUM on Solana as Ethereum’s STRCx Leads by Market Cap
The xStocks platform has accumulated an estimated $186 million in assets under management and processed more than $25 billion in cumulative volume since launching on Solana in June 2025.

XStocks has quietly developed one of the most active tokenized-equity ecosystems in crypto, reaching an estimated $186 million in assets under management since launching on Solana on June 30, 2025. The platform has also reported more than $25 billion in cumulative transaction volume, although that figure requires careful interpretation.
A Solana-Native Equity Platform
Each xStocks token is backed 1:1 by a corresponding U.S. stock or exchange-traded fund held in regulated custody. A buyer of AAPLx, for example, receives a digital claim on an Apple share held by a custodian rather than a synthetic product designed only to track Apple’s price.
The tokens exist primarily as SPL tokens on Solana, benefiting from the network’s low transaction costs and fast settlement. XStocks now lists more than 100 tokenized stocks and ETFs, including NVDAx and broader index-style products aimed at retail investors.
Because these assets are issued on-chain, they can potentially be used beyond simple ownership or trading. Tokenized shares could serve as collateral in lending protocols or be deployed in liquidity pools, linking traditional equity exposure to decentralized finance applications.
Ethereum’s STRCx Takes the Lead
Although most of the xStocks ecosystem operates on Solana, its largest individual token by market capitalization is issued on Ethereum. STRCx, which tracks Strategy PP Variable stock, is an ERC-20 token with an approximate market cap of $135 million.
That creates a notable split between the platform’s primary operating chain and the blockchain hosting its largest token. The broader ecosystem can be summarized as follows:
- Solana: Main home of xStocks, with most tokens issued as SPL assets.
- Ethereum: Home of STRCx, the platform’s largest token by market capitalization.
- Product range: More than 100 tokenized stocks and ETFs.
- Reported scale: $186 million in AUM and more than $25 billion in cumulative volume.
XStocks is not alone in pursuing on-chain equity exposure. Backed Finance and Ondo Finance have developed similar products, while traditional financial institutions and brokerages have also explored blockchain-based equity wrappers.
What This Means
The $186 million AUM figure offers a more tangible measure of adoption than transaction volume because it represents capital remaining in tokenized positions. By contrast, the reported $25 billion in cumulative volume could include wash trading or high-frequency activity that does not reflect sustained economic demand.
For Solana, xStocks demonstrates how the network can support regulated, real-world asset products while connecting them to DeFi infrastructure. Continued growth will depend on transparent volume data, custody arrangements, liquidity, and whether investors use tokenized equities for more than speculative trading.
