User-friendly concentrated liquidity DEX powering deep Solana swap liquidity.
Orca is one of Solana's longest-running decentralized exchanges, launched in 2021 with a focus on a simple, human-friendly trading experience. Its core product is Whirlpools, a concentrated liquidity AMM that lets liquidity providers place capital within custom price ranges for higher capital efficiency, or use full-range positions for a more passive approach.
Beyond swaps, Orca offers a Liquidity Terminal for opening and managing LP positions, portfolio tools to track them, and a TypeScript SDK that many Solana apps and aggregators use to route trades through Whirlpools. In August 2025 it launched Wavebreak, a token launchpad built around anti-bot protections and fairer launches. In May 2026 it added infrastructure for tokenized real-world assets, with StreamEx as its first issuer.
Orca is governed by ORCA token holders through the Orca DAO. In October 2026 the DAO opened a vote, closing October 10, on a fee-switch proposal that would split protocol fees between staking rewards, team-managed open-market ORCA buybacks (about 10% of fees), and development and growth.
