Solana ETFs Draw Record $188 Million in Weekly Inflows as Bitwise Leads Demand
U.S. spot Solana ETFs attracted a record $188 million last week, with Bitwise’s BSOL accounting for roughly two-thirds of new money as every fund in the group recorded inflows.

U.S. spot Solana exchange-traded funds attracted a record $188 million in net inflows during the week through Sept. 25, marking the strongest weekly demand since the products launched. All seven funds recorded positive flows, while Friday’s $87 million intake established a single-day record.
Bitwise Captures the Largest Share
Bitwise’s BSOL led the group by a wide margin, collecting approximately $128 million, or 68% of the week’s total. Grayscale’s GSOL followed with $28 million, while Fidelity’s FSOL attracted about $18 million. Morgan Stanley, VanEck, Franklin Templeton and 21Shares together accounted for the remaining $14 million.
Friday supplied nearly half of the week’s inflows. The funds brought in around $87 million that day, including approximately $56 million for BSOL and $19 million for GSOL.
Spot ETFs give investors exposure to SOL through standard brokerage accounts without requiring them to manage a crypto wallet. Net inflows measure money entering the products after withdrawals, rather than trading activity between investors or changes in the value of existing shares.
Bitwise’s lead is even more pronounced over the products’ full operating history. BSOL has attracted roughly $1.2 billion of the group’s $1.6 billion in cumulative net inflows, representing approximately 76% of total demand. Its weekly share was therefore lower than its longer-term proportion, as competing funds collectively drew about $60 million.
Flows Coincide With Solana Upgrade Testing
The strong ETF demand came as Solana developers tested Alpenglow, a network upgrade designed to reduce the time required for a payment to be considered irreversible. The proposal targets a reduction in payment finality from approximately 12.8 seconds to about 150 milliseconds.
Alpenglow reached Solana’s second public testing environment on Friday. The roughly 150-millisecond figure remains a target, and developers have not announced a date for deployment on the live blockchain.
The broader crypto fund market also recorded substantial weekly inflows:
- U.S. bitcoin ETFs attracted approximately $2.4 billion.
- Ether products added roughly $690 million.
- Solana ETFs recorded $188 million, their highest weekly total to date.
What This Means
The latest figures point to growing institutional access to SOL, with demand spreading across all seven U.S. spot products rather than remaining confined to a single issuer. Bitwise’s continued dominance gives BSOL a clear lead, but the presence of inflows at competing funds suggests the market is developing beyond one flagship vehicle.
The timing also places investor attention on Solana’s technical roadmap. If Alpenglow eventually delivers materially faster finality, it could strengthen the network’s institutional narrative, although its performance remains under testing and no mainnet launch date has been set.
