Solana Active Addresses Reach 1.88 Million, Highest Level in 13 Months
Solana’s on-chain activity, funded wallets, developer programs and stablecoin usage are accelerating, even as U.S. spot SOL ETFs record renewed outflows.

Solana is seeing its busiest stretch in more than a year, with unique active addresses reaching 1.88 million on October 9, 2026. The growth in on-chain activity contrasts with renewed withdrawals from U.S. spot SOL exchange-traded funds.
Network Activity Accelerates
Data from SolanaFloor and the Blockworks analytics dashboard shows that the 1.88 million unique active-address reading is the network’s highest in 13 months. The figure arrives alongside broader gains in network growth and funded-wallet activity.
Santiment reported that Solana’s network growth accelerated 124% from early September. That increase corresponds to approximately 1.71 million new wallets created each day, according to the cited data.
Daily active addresses also rose 58% to roughly 4.27 million unique wallets. These figures come from different tracking systems and measure different activity, so the daily active-address estimate should not be treated as interchangeable with the 1.88 million unique active-address reading.
Funded wallets—addresses holding a balance—climbed 38.5% month over month to 16.1 million. Developer activity also reached a new high, with more than 8,400 monthly active programs recorded in September. On Solana, programs function as smart contracts that power applications, exchanges, games and payment tools.
Stablecoin Use Broadens the Network’s Role
Stablecoin activity is emerging as one of the clearest signs that Solana’s growth extends beyond token trading. Daily active stablecoin addresses reached 888,000 in September, representing a 269% year-over-year increase.
Total stablecoin supply on the network surpassed $15 billion, distributed across more than 14 million addresses. Together, the address and supply figures suggest that Solana is increasingly being used to move dollar-denominated assets, in addition to supporting decentralized applications and market activity.
The key on-chain indicators include:
- 1.88 million unique active addresses, a 13-month high.
- 16.1 million funded wallets after a 38.5% monthly increase.
- More than 8,400 monthly active programs in September.
- 888,000 daily active stablecoin addresses and more than $15 billion in stablecoin supply.
What This Means
Solana’s usage metrics are strengthening even as market-based demand appears less consistent. U.S. spot SOL ETFs recorded more than $22 million in net outflows through early October, reversing a September period marked by strong inflows.
The divergence leaves several indicators to watch: whether unique active addresses remain near 1.88 million, whether funded-wallet growth can continue at a similar pace, and whether ETF flows turn positive again. Sustained stablecoin activity could be particularly important, because it would point to expanding payments and dollar-transfer use rather than a temporary increase in speculative trading.
