JPMorgan’s Tokenized Money Market Funds Go Live on Solana
JPMorgan Asset Management has launched two tokenized money market funds on Solana for qualified U.S. investors, expanding the bank’s blockchain-based investment products beyond Ethereum.

JPMorgan Asset Management has brought two tokenized money market funds to the Solana blockchain, extending the Wall Street bank’s blockchain strategy beyond its earlier Ethereum deployments. The products are available to qualified U.S. investors through Morgan Money, JPMorgan’s liquidity management platform.
Two Funds, Distinct Institutional Uses
The Solana launch covers My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity–Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX). Eligible investors can subscribe for or redeem shares through Morgan Money and receive corresponding tokens at their blockchain addresses.
The funds serve different institutional purposes:
- MONY: A private placement fund launched on Ethereum in December 2025 that offers eligible investors U.S. dollar yields.
- JLTXX: A U.S.-registered government money market fund designed to support stablecoin issuers’ reserve management needs under the GENIUS Act.
The platform is intended to give institutional clients a single access point for tokenized investments across multiple blockchains, rather than requiring separate platforms for each network. JPMorgan has not disclosed how much capital has been allocated to either fund through the Solana deployment.
JPMorgan Expands Its Tokenization Strategy
The Solana rollout follows JPMorgan’s initial tokenized fund launch on Ethereum. JLTXX first launched on Ethereum in May 2026, when JPMorgan invested $100 million of its own money into the product. The bank’s latest move adds Solana to the infrastructure supporting its tokenized financial services.
Tokenized money market funds represent ownership in conventional investment products through blockchain-based tokens. Unlike cryptocurrencies such as SOL, these tokens are tied to interests in investment funds and are designed to improve the efficiency of transfers and record-keeping.
JPMorgan Asset Management reported $4.8 trillion in assets under management as of September 30, 2026. That scale highlights the institutional significance of bringing regulated, yield-generating investment products to a public blockchain, although the bank has not provided capital figures for the Solana launch.
What This Means
JPMorgan’s deployment strengthens Solana’s position as an infrastructure option for institutional tokenization. The launch does not represent a new cryptocurrency or a direct change to SOL’s supply or market structure; instead, it creates a regulated financial application on the network for a defined group of qualified investors.
For Solana, the addition of two JPMorgan products may support its broader institutional narrative, particularly as asset managers and stablecoin-related businesses explore on-chain settlement and reserve management. The immediate scale of adoption remains uncertain because no Solana-specific assets under management were disclosed. Still, a multi-chain rollout from one of the world’s largest financial institutions signals that public blockchain networks are increasingly being evaluated as distribution and record-keeping rails for traditional funds.
